Amber Sorden-Gardner

 

MHS Class of 1998

Amber Gardner graduated from Mesa State College in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Math and an Elementary Teaching License.  While teaching in Montrose County Schools for five years, Amber earned her Master’s in School Counseling from Adams State.  In August of 2010, she completed the requirements for a Large Center, Early Childhood Director’s License.  A mother of four, Amber saw a need for an academically stimulating program for children ages 6 weeks -12 years, and founded Bright Beginnings. Amber’s drive and entrepreneurial spirit has quickly moved Bright Beginnings from a one-teacher, 10-student school to what is now a thriving 125 student, infant through Kindergarten Enrichment establishment, with plans for expansion to 5th grade by 2012.
